Biography
Lois is a distance PhD student in the Developmental Psychology & Education program at the University of Toronto (OISE). Lois’ research interests include language assessment in the early years, emergent literacy skill building and using children’s picture books as a natural segue way for early development and growth. Lois received her Masters of Elementary Education from the University of Alberta and taught in the K-12 school system for 10 years. Currently, Lois is a full-time faculty member in the School of Education at Red Deer College in Alberta, where she instructs Early Learning courses and coordinates student practicum placements.
